Peptide therapy education

Sermorelin Peptide Therapy Consultations in Florida

Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide that stimulates the pituitary gland to release growth hormone, which plays a role in growth, metabolism and tissue function. An individualized evaluation helps determine whether a treatment discussion is appropriate.

How does sermorelin work?

The pituitary is a small gland at the base of the brain that releases hormones. Sermorelin signals it to release growth hormone. Growth hormone can stimulate production of IGF-1, involved in growth and tissue function. Sermorelin is not the same as injecting human growth hormone.

Stimulating this pathway does not establish meaningful benefits for otherwise healthy adults. The compounded offering is not FDA-approved.

Why patients ask about it

Questions may involve growth hormone function, a previously diagnosed deficiency, energy, body composition, sleep, exercise recovery or hormonal health. These concerns can have many causes. They do not automatically establish an indication for sermorelin, and a prior diagnosis may require specialist assessment.

Benefits for general adult anti-aging, weight loss, athletic performance, sleep improvement or longevity are not established. Increased energy, muscle growth, fat loss or improved sleep are not guaranteed.

Subscription & Cancellation Terms

No minimum commitment or cancellation fee for the listed PT-141, sermorelin and tablet tier subscriptions.

All subscription cancellations require at least 7 full calendar days' notice before the next scheduled recurring payment or prescription renewal processing date, whichever occurs first.

Recurring payments and prescription renewals may begin processing before the renewal date. This advance notice allows our office adequate time to stop automatic billing, coordinate with the dispensing pharmacy when applicable, and prevent unnecessary prescription renewals or shipments.

Cancellation requests received fewer than 7 days before the next scheduled renewal may not take effect until the following billing cycle. Payments already processed and prescriptions already submitted to the pharmacy may not be eligible for cancellation or refund, subject to applicable law and the existing refund policy.

Cancellation stops future renewals after the effective cancellation date. Any existing minimum membership commitment remains subject to its agreed terms.

Patients may discontinue a medication for medical reasons at any time. This administrative cancellation policy does not restrict clinical care or medical decision-making.

Safety considerations

Your provider may review cancer history, pituitary disorders, diabetes and glucose metabolism, relevant laboratory results, thyroid concerns, pregnancy or breastfeeding and current medications. A remote evaluation may not be sufficient for every concern.

Any additional laboratory testing or services and their prices will be explained before authorization. Compounded sermorelin is not FDA-approved for general adult wellness or anti-aging.
